Why Choose Juvéderm Dermal Fillers?
Juvéderm dermal fillers are a safe and effective way to replenish facial volume that has been lost over time. As you age, wrinkles and lines develop on your face, folds and creases may become more visible, the cheeks and mid-face area can flatten, and the skin may begin to sag. This is due to a natural loss in volume caused by dwindling collagen and elastin production as well as exposure to a variety of environmental factors like sun damage, gravity, and smoking.
The Juvéderm family of dermal fillers can correct various signs of aging in the face, improving common problems such as:
- Wrinkles and lines
- Nasolabial folds
- Marionette lines
- Loss of facial volume
- Thinning lips
The Juvéderm Family of Dermal Fillers
There’s a Juvéderm dermal fillers product to help you achieve your specific goals.
Juvéderm Ultra XC®
Juvéderm Ultra XC temporarily adds volume and plumps up thin lips—whether they have thinned over time or you suffer from naturally thin lips and simply want to make them fuller. Juvéderm Ultra XC is also approved for smoothing and correcting moderate to severe parentheses lines, such as nasolabial folds, by adding volume to facial tissue and restoring a smoother appearance to the face.
Treatments with Juvéderm XC last up to one year.
Juvéderm Volbella XC®
Juvéderm Volbella is designed to temporarily plump the lips and to smooth the appearance of lines around the mouth. This dermal filler is injected directly into and around the lips using an ultra-fine needle for augmentation and for correction of perioral lines, often called “lipstick lines.”
Juvéderm Volbella treatments last up to one year.
Juvéderm Vollure XC™
Juvéderm Vollure XC is formulated to temporarily correct facial wrinkles for a smoother appearance to the face. Treatments are injected into the areas where moderate to severe wrinkles and folds occur, including the “parentheses lines” around the nose and mouth.
Correction with Juvéderm Vollure XC was shown to last up to 18 months in a clinical study.
Juvéderm Voluma XC®
Juvéderm Voluma XC is designed to add volume and fullness underneath the skin’s surface, providing lift and contour to the cheek area.
Juvéderm Voluma XC provides natural-looking and long-lasting results for up to two years.
The Right Dermal Filler for You
During your consultation, we will carefully evaluate the condition of your skin and listen to your goals in order to recommend the best Juvéderm facial filler for you. Many of our patients also benefit from combining dermal fillers with other minimally invasive facial treatments like Botox.
What Are Dermal Filler Treatments Like?
Treatments with Juvéderm dermal fillers are quick and relatively painless. After a personal consultation to determine the best approach to restoring facial volume, injections with Dr. Tse typically only take minutes to perform. Sessions are also very comfortable for her patients as Juvéderm contains the local anesthetic lidocaine, which provides the most pain-free experience possible.
Is There Any Downtime with Dermal Fillers?
There’s typically little to no downtime after injections with Juvéderm dermal fillers. Patients can go back to work or their daily activities immediately following treatment. Dr. Tse will provide you with any specific aftercare guidelines to ensure the best results.
When Will I See Results from Dermal Fillers?
You’ll notice results immediately after treatment. There’ll be an improvement in facial volume and fullness, wrinkles and fine lines will be smoother, and creases and folds will be softer and much less pronounced.
What Are the Side Effects of Juvéderm Dermal Fillers?
Side effects from Juvéderm injectables are minimal. Although rare, unintentional injection into a blood vessel, vision abnormalities, blindness, stroke, temporary scabs, and permanent scarring may also occur with Juvéderm dermal fillers.
